Music for All Ages
There are many changes that can accompany the aging process, and many of those changes can certainly impact one’s quality of life. Some conditions often accompanying individuals as they age are age-related vision loss, hearing, and memory loss, dementia, Alzheimer’s, gait, stability, and mobility challenges, just to name a few. Many of these challenges have the ability to compromise the quality of seniors. At Nurturing Notes Music Therapy, we also offer personalized one on one music therapy services that are designed to meet many of these challenges and to support individuals as they transition and mature into their seniorhood, in the most comfortable and nurturing environment for each person.
We also provides group music therapy for senior centers, nursing homes, assisted living, and other facilities that are custom tailored to the needs of individuals in a collective setting.
Nurturing Notes Music Therapy is also proud to partner with Music Together of Decatur to offer both Generations Music Together classes and Babies Music Together classes. Our Generations Music Together classes is the perfect place to engage in a fun enriching music making experience that crosses generations, from babies to grandparents and grand friends.
